It’s taken me all day to publish this post because its embarrassing, but here we go. In 2018, I would like to loose 25 lbs because I gained 10 pounds in the last quarter of the year along with other weight I had been carrying all year. I have always been an emotional eater, and although I was disciplined with my exercise, food matters. When trying to loose or maintain weight, it is essential that you eat decently. I know this, but I let myself self soothe with crappy food.
Welp, it’s 2018 and I say No More. It is time that I took hold of the reins, and got my eating under control. Hence, Fit Friday. Every Friday I will share my meals, exercise, and struggles with you all on this blog. Feel free to join me along the way on my Instagram account (@Missmusic12) and here on the blog. I will share all my menu’s (I love to cook). I will share my treat meals, and fitness triumphs right here. By the end of the year I would like to be 25 lbs lighter, able to do at least five pull ups, and reduce my body fat percentage by 10%.
I currently weight 155.8 lbs, have no core strength, and can lift light weights (5-15 lbs.) In the morning I will clock in my body fat percentage, and add that to my stats. As I stated above, it’s 2018, so I began my fit life plan on January 1, and have my first treat meal planned for tomorrow. My goals for this first quarter are to:
- Meal Prep Weekly
- Eat all my prepped meals
- Drink at least half my body weight in water every day
- Never miss a workout
I can be quite disciplined, so now is the time for me to access that quality within myself. To ensure that I start off well, I’ve made a hermit out of myself for this week, but I will change that soon. Anyone want to join me on this journey? I was thinking of using the community tab on the Facebook page for us to encourage each other. I’m thinking we support each other in achieving whatever goal we set, whether it is weight loss or not.
