One of the most popular Eco Styler gel’s in the natural hair community is Krystal, so it is no surprise that this was one of the most requested gel’s for this series. I used the ECO Styler Krystal Gel most of last summer because it was one of the few gel’s I could find in Breckenridge, Colorado (really found it in Frisco).
The ECO Styler Krystal Gel is available and can be found almost anywhere beauty products are sold. It’s so very accessible, and has one of the strongest holds of all the ECOCO Beauty Inc. gel’s. In my experience, the only comparable ECO Styler gel is the Super Protein Gel. The hold is similar, and the results for my hair are also similar. I can definitely get at least five days from the use of this gel.
Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, PVP Glycerin, Amino-2-Methyl-1-Propanol, Sodium Hydrxymethylglycinate, Polysorbate 20, Tetrasodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum), LOVE AND PRIDE

The ECO Styler Krystal Gel definitely deflates my hair for the first couple of days, but as the gel cast breaks and I moisturize my hair, I get some volume back. The curls last all week, even in my hard to define sections. My hair never quite feels moisturized enough when I use this gel, but I know it is moisturized by the definition that is retained over the five day span. Check out the video for a closer look:
The ECO Styler Krystal Gel really holds up well to the humidity here in Florida. I moisturized several times with this wash and go, and once during the week I did my deep moisture routine and the definition held up well.
