I’m such a deep conditioner junkie. Currently I am working through all deep conditioners at Target that appeal to me. The Obia Naturals Babassu Deep Conditioner has received rave reviews from so many naturals for several years. Plus the ingredients list reads like a dream. Which means that it has also been on my “products to try” long list.

A Review

The Obia Naturals Babassu Deep Conditioner is eight ounces of deep conditioner for $14.99. Obia Naturals products are vegan, cruelty free, and its a black owned business. I found the product at Target, but the Obia Naturals products are also available at Walmart, Sally Beauty, and several drug stores. The products do not contain sulfates, mineral oil, petroleum, phthalates, parabens, DEA, synthetic colors, or drying alcohols. Basically, its a simple product formulated to add intense moisture to natural strands.

The ingredients in this deep conditioner are very clean, and doesn’t contain any protein. I have used the Obia Naturals Babassu Deep Conditioner with heat and without heat and it works the same regardless. Every time I used this deep conditioner the results are very moisturized hair. obia naturals

The consistency is creamy with just enough water content to spread through my strands. It smells earthy, not sweet. The one downside to this deep conditioner is the fact that the slip is not quite a 10. I would say that the slip is a 7 out of 10, so to detangle you definitely need to use this deep conditioner on soaking wet hair. Otherwise, no complaints, go out and give the Obia Naturals Babassu Deep Conditioner a try!
