The last review for the Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Collection is the Leave-In Conditioner and Curl Smoothie. This collection is marketed for type 4 naturals, so when it launched I purchased everything. I put off reviewing these products because they were tricky and I needed to use them many ways before reviewing.
Take A Look!
As promised, this review is somewhat interesting. I usually do not like to say exactly whether or not I like a product. Instead I just like to talk about the pros and cons and let you decide, but not this time. Check out the video for more info:
Pomegranate & Honey Leave-In Conditioner and Curl Smoothie
I have tried so many different leave-in conditioners that I know exactly what I am looking for. The goal is for the product to have slip, work well with oils, and leave the hair moisturized enough to only need a styler. Smoothies are harder to come by, and are pretty ambiguous in the hair product world.
Most smoothies are thick products with plenty of water that act more like a styler than a moisturizer. The Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie is generally the benchmark for smoothies for me. It’s more moisturizing than most, but its also heavy as well. I found the Pomegranate & Honey Curl Smoothie to be no exception in this department. It’s not as moisturizing as the Shea Moisture Smoothie, but it is lighter.
Mielle Organics is definitely one of the new natural hair care lines to look out for. I have more products from the line to try, but so far I have yet to meet with any real duds. What are your favorite Mielle Organics products?
