I purchased the Shampoo and Conditioner from the Coco Curls line late February, and have been using both products since March. First off, the shipping from the company was great, prompt and I had no product mishaps in the box.
How does the products stack up?
Coco Curls Hydrating Shampoo
Ingredients: Distilled Water, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate,Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein,Cocamidopropyl Betaine,Glycine Betaine (Beta vulgaris (Beet)) Sugar Extract,Gluconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Fragrance Oil.
Um, Yes Mam! This sulfate free shampoo lives up to its name and the hype! I had highs expectation for this product, and I was definitely unsure as to whether or not I would be let down. Shortly after applying the product the first time, I knew my coins were well spent. The shampoo smells sweet, but not overpowering. It has great slip and distributes evenly, but its a little thin so do not just go pouring it over your hair haphazardly. I washed once, then twice and each time my hair felt soft, my scalp was clean and moisturized. This shampoo reminds me so much of the original red label Cream of Nature shampoo, but without the annoying silicone film that was impossible to wash out. You will find this shampoo on my favorite products list above, because it has no comparison. This product cleans better than cleansning conditioners, but in no way shape or form does it take any moisture away from my strands. I would only use it once a week because it actually cleans, but regardless, I would have no fear of dryness with this shampoo.
Coco Curls Revitalizing Conditioner
Ingredients: Purified Water (and) Equisetum arvense (Horsetail) Leaf Extract (and) Salvia officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract (and) Urtica urens (Nettle) Leaf Extract (and) Rosemarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract (and) Matricaria recutita (Chamomile) Flower Extract (and) Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol, Jojoba Oil, Cocoa Butter, Castor Oil,Argan Oil,Panthenol, Propanediol, Gluconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance Oil.
You just have to love a good conditioner. The conditioner smells just like the shampoo, with a sweet, but not repressive scent. This is advertised as an all-in-one conditioner, in that will provide moisture and strength for my strands. If that was not the claim, I would say that this is fantastic conditioner. Unfortunately, itt does not provide strength, and doesn’t have the necessary ingredients to provide it. However, it does provide fantastic slip and moisture. I like the conditioner as a rinse out and leave-in, but at $15, I just cannot say the conditioner is a must have.
If you are already purchasing something from Coco Curls, then go ahead and give the conditioner a try. Or if you want to purchase a single line of products, hit up Coco Curls. Otherwise, I say the Shampoo is EVERYTHING and you can do without the conditioner!
