There is nothing like a full day to recharge and prep to push through the work week. I like to get in a good breakfast every single day, and Self Care Sunday is definitely no different. Post feeding, I stretched to soothe my sore muscles from a hard week of fitness and sat down to write down a few thoughts about my week and setup my planner spread for the coming week.
I find organizing my week and decorating my planner to be relaxing quite fun. Post planning I played around on the Internet until snack time when I began meal prep for the week (I made myself a smoothie to snack on).
I watched Criminal Minds while meal prepping and ate a little lunch. Once done I wanted to chill for a bit, so I began reading the next portion of Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi (which I am loving!)
Then I vegged out while chatting with my boyfriend before beginning dinner. To wind down completely, I drew myself a bath as part of my paper routine and shut down for the night.
I then watched the Olympics (aka #blackgirlmagic) until I decided to call it a night.
