This past Winter I decided to try creating a capsule makeup collection, and I loved the effect so much that I repeated the idea for Spring. By creating a small collection for use during a single season, I found myself going through my makeup stash and using more of my collection.
I purchased the Narsissist Loaded Palette at the end of Winter, and knew that I wanted to focus on using that palette to its fullest potential this Spring. Also, I am in love with red lips right now. Not just red lips, but BRIGHT red lips, so much of my collection is focused around those two pieces.
To store my capsule pieces separate from my makeup collection, I picked up a small two drawer acrylic organization container from Home Goods. It’s the perfect size for longer items, without allowing for too many items. I make it a point to fit everything I plan to use inside and on top of the organizer.
If anything doesn’t fit into the organizer, I need to downsize my capsule. This method is really working for me, so I thought I would share. Check out the video below for a look at the collection as well as two of the looks I can create with the products:
