Beauty Hair Care Wash n Go Series

Wash n Go Series, Type 4 (a,b,c) Hair: Miss Jessie’s Coily Custard

I bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago and purchased my first Miss Jessie’s product (check out the video for an explanation). I have used it 3 times since then (video is 4), and I get consistent results. There really aren’t many reviews of this product out there, so I thought I would share my experience in a vlog. The video below outlines my application process and a look at my wet and dry hair:

Ingredients: WATER (AQUA), GLYCERIN, HYDROLYZED CORN STARCH, POLYSORBATE 20, HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE, XANTHAN GUM, CHONDRUS CRISPUS (CARRAGEENAN), PECTIN, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, COCOS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) OIL, FRAGRANCE, DIAZOLIDINYL UREA, AGAVE AMERICAN LEAF EXTRACT

The Review

Pro’s:
-Great definition
-Clean scent
-Has slip
-Cuts down on frizz
-Can be purchased in stores

Cons:
-Packaging
-Feels sticky in the hair for the first couple of days

I really like this gel, and am not mad at the price point. I get consistently defined, moisturized, soft hair with each application. The custard contains a large amount of glycerin, so it is best paired with leave-in’s that do not contain glycerin. The two times I used the product with a leave-in that contained glycerin, I experienced flakes. All in all, this newer Miss Jessie’s product is a welcome addition to the type four hair arsenal.
