Last year I decided to move back into an Erin Condren planner to organize my life, more specifically the vertical LifePlanner. I

have been quite happy with that decision, and with just a few months left in my planner, I was on the lookout for the 2021 launch. Lo and behold, I was very pleasantly surprised by a new addition to the Erin Condren Lifeplanner lineup: the Daily Duo!

In life, I juggle various hats as a blogger with a full-time job. I’ve been working from home since mid-March and my planners have been crucial to that success. However, I have craved a planner that has space for all my needs. I want to be able to schedule by time but retain space for a large to-do list.

Enter the 2021 Erin Condren Daily Duo! The new daily planner still contains a month on two pages, but also a page for each day of the week! Saturday and Sunday are on the same page to keep the planner from becoming too bulky. In fact, the Daily Duo is two planners consisting of six months out of the year.

Last year I bought a daily planner for work, and it is very bulky because it contains a page a day for the full year. Needless to say, that planner never left my desk, which is not ideal. The 2021 Erin Condren Daily Duo allows me to keep a daily overview, still allows me to see important events via the month on two pages, and with the addition of a few accessories, I am also able to see the most important items for the week at a glance.

My Setup

Though my new planner doesn’t begin until July 1, me being a true planner junkie, I’ve been playing with the layout. I enjoy the way the planner is set up, but in my trial pages, I realized that I still need to be able to regularly see and plan my most important meetings/tasks for the week in a single layout. That led me to the Erin Condren snap-in accessories.

JenPlans made a post on Instagram suggesting the use of the EC dashboards to see the month at a glance. The idea inspired me to purchase the EC Wonder Woman collection dashboard. On one side is a space for every day of the week, and on the other is a space for tasks.

I love the ability to keep a running to-do list and see the week’s most important tasks beside my daily layout. For me, this is planner peace. My only gripe with the planner is the initial cover choices for the Daily Duo. I really wasn’t in love with any of them, however when you purchase the planner, EC sends you a voucher for a free cover.

Planner Peace

I chose to customize the second set of covers because I am not in love with the colorful waterfall cover option in the slightest. Now, my Daily Duo covers complement each other on the outside, and are just what I need to functionally plan my life on the inside. Also, I have always been a fan of the colorful layout of the Erin Condren Lifeplanner, so I am chomping at the bit to begin using my 2021 Erin Condren Daily Duo come July 1st.
