Twice a year Ulta blows us away with 50% off of hand-picked beauty products for its 21 Days of Beauty sale. In the Fall, this is usually an assortment of makeup and skin care products. Some years I want everything and end up at the store almost every day. Other years, I find myself wanting nothing. This year, the sale runs from August 28 to September 17th, 2022.

This sale does have limitations when it comes to purchasing multiple products, but at 50% off, this is a generous sale. You do not have to be a member to take advantage of the sale, and there are even a few surprise picks throughout the 21 Days of Beauty. You can stock up on some of your favorite go-to products or buy a few new things you have an interest in trying, but do not want to pay full price. If you can’t tell, this year I am all in! There are so many deals on products I love and even a few I want to buy and try. Luckily, I didn’t purchase too many items for restocking before the Fall 2022 Ulta 21 Days of Beauty picks were announced.
A few tips: The occasional mystery “surprise steal” is sold out fast, so set an alarm for each day and buy quickly online for pick-up to get free shipping. Also, if you are not a member of the Ulta rewards program, it’s one of the best, so sign-up and rack up cash back for use during the Holiday gift-giving season. If you plan to shop online, make sure you are also enrolled in Rakuten, so you get additional cashback.
I do not encourage you to stockpile products because sales run all year long, but 50% off of so many of these items is a steal. The plan for me is to only buy on-sale items and resist the urge to add more products that are not on sale or have less than a 50% discount.
