It has been a long time since I lived somewhere in which I needed clothes for autumn weather, so my Autumn wishlist is longer than usual. Florida is not known for any significant changes in temperature until mid-November. But, this year I actually need to make the adjustment to warmer clothes.

I want to knock a few items off of my capsule wardrobe list, and replace a few items as well. Plus, I plan to keep my look current with a few nods to fashion.

2019 Autumn Wishlist

Black Turtleneck
I own exactly one long sleeve t-shirt appropriate for Autumn, so a few throw on tops are in order. The turtleneck is a classic that I need for my wardrobe capsule, so I plan to splurge for quality that will last.

Statement Color Tee
The luxurious feel and quality of this Amour Vert t-shirt is amazing. I own this top in an off white stripe, and I covet the emerald green option. Plus, the 3/4 sleeve is perfect for the transition to winter.

Pleated Midi Skirt
A must buy. I have always loved a midi-length pleated skirt, and I am on the lookout for the best color and fit to wear both to work and for play. This mustard number is perfect for summer and autumn.

Little Black Dress
I like to have at least one throw on dress per season, and this sheath dress fits the bill. This dress and my body type are a match made in heaven.

Doc Martens
This classic chunky boot is perfect for both autumn and winter, and the style is timeless.

Booties
The current high low cut of booties is just the edge I need to update my wardrobe. Plus, a statement print will add a touch of interest to my outfit choices.

Croc Bag
This bag trend is right up my alley! Since it’s a trend, I will shop for this in the mid to low price point and get a few seasons of wear.

Do I plan to purchase everything on this list? No, but having an idea of what will fit into my wardrobe helps me avoid overspending. Instead, I focus on cut and quality alongside sustainability.
