Cool-weather is in the air and that means that it is time to pull out those Fall Beauty Essentials.

Fall weather is that sweet spot in which the humidity starts to dissipate and temperatures drop just enough to not sweat when standing outside.

Bring out your Fall Beauty Essentials!

Shea Butter Baby

The moment I feel the Fall breeze, I switch to using a shea butter-based cream to moisturize my skin every day. Over the years I have made my own and purchased several worth the coins. However, for the past couple of years, I have turned to Annabelle’s Perfect Blend.

My body care favorite is the Winter Dream Cream. It’s a perfect consistency, and I have yet to purchase a scent I don’t enjoy. Plus, my skin drinks up the shea butter without leaving any kind of waxy film behind.

Deep Condition

Usually, in summer because I condition my hair more, I slack on the deep treatments. However, as the weather begins to turn drier, so can my hair.

In the Fall I return to a weekly deep treatment regimen to give my hair a bit of tender loving care. My favorite conditioners still hit, but in my current stash I am using up the Millcreek Botanicals Keratin Conditioner for a bit of protein and the Shescentit Tropical Coconut & Rice Milk Hair Mask for intense moisture.

Pro tip: I sit under my hair steamer or throw on a heated cap to help the ingredients adhere to my strands.

Dark Lips

I LIVE for deep lip color! Fall is when I pull out my favorite deep purple and brown tones to shake up my makeup game.

Mented Cosmetics has my lipstick collection ready with deep nudes like Foxy Brown and Brown Bare . However, I covet a few lippies from Uoma Beauty, specifically a metallic and berry shade that I will purchase this season.

Fall Nail Color

There is no better time than Fall to use those rich orange, brown, and yellow tones that match the falling leaves. I love to turn to my stash of favorites from the OPI Washington DC collection, as well as a few from Zoya.

Yellow happens to be my favorite color and OPI has a great brown girl friendly shade in Never A Dulles Moment for this season. Zoya nocks it out of the park with Gina, to help you keep up with the ‘it’ color of the fashion season.

If all else fails, you can never go wrong with a classic black or white nail!

Fall weather is a welcome break from the high temperatures of summer, and these essentials help my beauty routine make the transition as well.
